Shirley holds a BA; Higher Diploma in Education; B.Ed Honours (UNISA); M.Ed (Harvard) and Doctorate in Education (Ed.D) (Harvard). She currently holds a number of non-executive directorships in several JSE listed companies, is a trustee on the Nedbank Eyethu Community Trust, the Orbis Africa Charity and the Chairman of Starfish Greathearts Foundation. She also serves on the Advisory Boards of Monash, African Society for Talent Development and the University of Pretoria’s Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences. Shirley has a strong background in human resources and is a mentor to several women across multiple industries. This will provide valuable insights and experience to the RGLF.
